Hi All, i have just bought an xj13 that has been sitting in a museum for 7 or 8 years, it needs a fair bit of work to bodywork and side windows to be fabricated as well as interior seats to be redesigned and trimmed, the engine , i dont know yet as i am picking it up when i get a trailer next week. The registration nos. is XJV 143, Does anyone know this car or who the builder might be,it has a fibreglass body. Danny

Having lived a large portion of my life in New York, both in Manhatten and Queens, it is with most thrilling to see #001 XJ13 on the (what looks like 47th Street near Penn station) streets of Manhatten.
When the Indians sold that Island for a mess of beads and trinkets, little did any of the participants in that transaction ever expect to see a "chariot of fire" such as this one traversing "their Island".

While visiting Southampton with my wife & Mom, we spotted the XJ 13 from the window of the Golden Pear. What an awesome treat for any car enthusist! I,ve had the pleasure of seeing the real XJ13 at the JDHT at Coventry and at other Jaguar enthusiast events. At Chatsworth it was valued at £5m for insurance purposes, so to replicate this car to such a great degree and detail is quite amazing and beautiful. Thanks.
